Senegal, Here I come!

After a year and a half of application, medical examinations, interviews, and preparation I'm finally waiting in the Washington D.C. airport for my flight to Senegal, West Africa. Even though I've met my 55 colleagues, turned in all my paper work, and received my yellow fever shot, it's still unbelievably surreal.

I'm excited. I'm anxious. I'm ready.
